Accountant Highlights
- The pay for this position is $55,000 – $70,000 per year, based on experience
- Monday – Friday schedule
- Onsite position
- This position is a direct hire opportunity
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts using accounting software
- Apply accounting standards, conventions, and principles in all financial activities
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Analyze financial data and assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Perform account reconciliations and support internal audits
- Communicate financial information clearly and concisely with internal and external stakeholders
- Utilize Excel spreadsheets for data analysis, budgeting, and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making
- Handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- 1–2 years of accounting experience (Banking or Credit Union experience required)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems
- Ability to multitask, analyze data, and solve problems effectively
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
