Schedule: Full-time assignment; holiday rotation required; 8-hour non-billable orientation

Highlights:

• Provide expert lactation assessment, treatment, and consultation in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Lead interdisciplinary care planning for patients with advanced lactation support needs
• Work with experienced healthcare team focused on maternal and infant wellness
• Utilize Meditech Expanse EMR system (experience strongly preferred)
• 13-week contract with potential for extension
• Opportunity to make meaningful impact on new mothers and families

Requirements:

• Active Massachusetts state license (RN, OT, PT, SLP, or Pharmacist)
• International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification with 1+ year of experience
• Minimum of 2,500 documented hours as a breastfeeding consultant
• Experience with inpatient lactation programs
• Outpatient prenatal and postpartum lactation education, consultation, or teaching experience
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Reliable personal transportation required
• All certifications must be current and provided at time of application
