Sales Manager
Position Summary
The Sales Manager has overall responsibility for increasing monthly parking sales at targeted locations within Colonial Parking’s portfolio by following up on existing leads and leveraging current accounts. In addition, this role is responsible for developing new monthly revenue products to attract non-traditional parker groups.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Drive direct sales efforts across monthly parking groups, transient parkers, validations, and other client segments.
- Proactively identify and pursue innovative business opportunities to increase parking facility utilization.
- Responsible for all aspects of the monthly parking, new business and sales cycle including prospecting, lead follow-up, and evaluation of opportunities at current locations.
- Collaborate with Customer Care and Senior Operations management to align sales strategies with operational goals and enhance customer experience.
- Respond promptly to inbound inquiries from digital channels, providing tailored parking solutions that meet client needs and maximize revenue potential.
- Oversees the CRM database, ensuring data accuracy and completeness, and delivers insightful analytical reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead the end-to-end process of developing and submitting sales proposals.
- Represent the company at industry events and professional networking groups to build relationships, generate leads, and stay informed on market developments.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of new business, sales and marketing experience in the parking or related industry.
- Experience in drafting, developing and managing government proposals.
- Established experience in drafting, developing, managing and reporting new business annual plans and introducing changes to the business to either maximize profitability or mitigate actuals that fall below expectations.
- Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills and a proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships internally and externally.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills, able to multi-task, prioritize and consistently meet deadlines.
- Collaborative team player with a proven ability to coordinate effectively in cross functional environments, fostering alignment and impactful results.
- Established experience in Microsoft Office Products including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook and CRM software (Salesforce).
About the role:
- This is a fully on-site role based in the heart of Georgetown, Washington, DC—Monday through Friday.
- Candidates will be asked to complete a brief writing sample as part of the interview process.
- Flexibility to occasionally work evenings and weekends is required to support networking and industry events.
- Eligible for a quarterly performance-based incentive bonus.
