At Independent Software, we are committed to supporting national security through mission-driven, technically excellent work, and we believe in investing in people who are passionate about using their expertise to make a real-world impact. If you’re looking for a collaborative and intellectually engaging environment where your contributions directly support strategic outcomes, you’ll find meaningful purpose here.

This position focuses on SIGNALS analysis (rather than general SIGINT), requiring a nuanced understanding of signal behavior and interpretation to support comprehensive mission operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver advanced training and mission support materials focused on complex SIGNALS analysis

  • Apply in-depth technical knowledge to analyze, interpret, and explain signal characteristics for operational teams

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in signal analysis and understanding of complex signal behaviors

  • Ability to develop and deliver technical training

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Relevant experience in SIGINT or SIGNALS training environments

  • Completion of relevant military training programs (if applicable), such as:

    • 9141 (Navy Tech ELINT Analyst)

    • 1N2A (Air Force Tech ELINT Analyst)

    • 451, 461, or 452 (Intermediate/Advanced Signals Analysis)

    • MCSAP, MESAP, or MOSAP

Education and Experience:
One of the following combinations is required:

  • Doctoral degree with 2 years of relevant experience

  • Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience

  • Associate degree with 7 years of relevant experience

  • High school diploma or GED with 9 years of relevant experience and completion of one of the approved military training programs listed above
Degrees must be in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, a Physical Science, or a related technical field. Broader degrees may be accepted with the completion of qualifying military or technical training.

Clearance Required: Must possess an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph security clearance to be considered for this role

Independent Software is an Equal Opportunity Employer EOE, M/F/D/V.
