Job SummaryWe are seeking a professional and skilled Dispatcher/scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will receive emergency and non-emergency calls and make quick decisions to ensure the proper action is taken. The ideal candidate is highly organized with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.&nbsp; Responsibilities&nbsp;

<li>Receive inbound non-emergency calls&nbsp;</li>
<li>Collect and document information from callers</li>
<li>Prioritize calls according to the level of urgency</li>
<li>Transmit information to the appropriate person or department</li>
<li>Direct response vehicles to appropriate location</li>
<li>Enter and assign rides to the drivers using software and ensure that rides are assigned promptly and accurately&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>High school diploma/GED</li>
<li>Previous experience as a Dispatcher or in a similar position</li>
<li>Excellent typing and data entry skills&nbsp;</li>
<li>Understanding of best practices and procedures for nonemergency response situations</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li>
<li>Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize projects</li>
<li>Ability to work well under pressure</li>
<li>Ability to answer heavy phone calls</li>
