We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily operations within a non-profit organization in New Orleans, Louisiana. The role involves providing direct assistance to leadership and ensuring smooth office workflows.
Responsibilities:
• Manage schedules and appointments, ensuring accurate calendar coordination.
• Handle inbound calls professionally and direct inquiries to the appropriate parties.
• Perform data entry tasks with precision and maintain organized records.
• Provide receptionist support, including greeting visitors and managing front desk activities.
• Prepare and format documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Coordinate meetings and events, ensuring all logistical details are arranged.
• Maintain written communication standards, drafting clear and concise correspondence.
• Support administrative office functions, including filing and inventory management.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure timely approval of timesheets and related tasks.
• Proven experience in administrative assistance within a detail-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable handling inbound calls and managing front desk responsibilities.
• Experience with calendar management and scheduling.
• Familiarity with data entry processes and maintaining accurate records.
