This opportunity is ideal for an Occupational Therapist with experience in school settings, particularly serving K-12 students. The role involves supporting middle and high school students 2-3 days per week while the current Occupational Therapist is on maternity leave. The position is based in Barre, VT, and runs through the school year on a contract basis.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing occupational therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to the needs of middle and high school students
- Collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to support student success
- Developing individualized treatment plans to enhance students functional abilities and participation in school activities
- Documenting progress and maintaining pliance with school and regulatory guidelines
Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings
- Familiarity with K-12 educational environments and student developmental needs
- Strong interpersonal and munication skills to effectively work with students, school staff, and families
- Ability to manage time efficiently and provide therapy 2-3 days per week through late January
