Classification: Non-exempt This position will be paid on an hourly basis, bi-weekly, for all hours worked and is considered non-exempt from overtime. Overtime premium pay is paid to non-exempt employees.
Position Summary: Responsible for direct client care, reporting to the Operations Manager / Shift Supervisor.
Tasks / Responsibilities (To include, but not limited to)
· Follow Windward Way Recovery’s policies, procedures, and protocols
· Transports clients safely to various doctor appointments and off-site meetings.
· Types and performs data entry as needed for communication purposes.
· Organizes and uploads documents to client files. (if applicable)
· Conforms to all necessary quality assurance standards as well as all infection control protocols.
· Drug tests clients according to Windward Way’s Waived Testing procedures and timeline.
· Greets scheduled visitors and coordinates to appropriate area or person.
· Follows up with chore checks, helps clients comply with contracts, communicates to clinical any issues.
· Organizes Windward Way’s cleaning supplies and materials.
· Makes copies of printed materials as needed.
· Follows Windward Way’s Medication Observation policy.
· Performs all necessary documentation regarding clients (i.e.: 30 minute/1-hour rounds, vitals or COWS/CIWA, group sessions)
· Inspects Windward Way vehicles upon shift change with previous Treatment Tech members.
· Must complete new admit intakes and gather any information needed
· Competent in auditing face-to-face rounds if applicable
· Dependability - completes assigned tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
· Attendance and Punctuality – promptly on time for work, assignments and meetings. Notifies supervisor prior to lateness or absence, understands excess absences pose a hardship for other employees.
· Job Skills and Knowledge - completes all chart related documents and correspondence for assigned clients in a timely manner.
· Quantity and Quality – Cares about the quality and accuracy of work being produced. Accepts responsibility for completing job tasks while using time productively and efficiently.

· Medication Observation- Individual has a full understanding of the Medication Observation procedures and demonstrates ability to carry out duties as assigned.
· Quality management - the individual looks for ways to improve and promote quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in regard to EMR Documentation, Infection Control, and Waived Testing.
· Documentation- the individual is able to navigate the EMR with ease. They have a core understanding of how the program runs, what’s important and what needs to be documented at what intervals.
· Time Management - the individual prioritizes and plans efficiently, developing a realistic action plan in regard to their duties.
· Safety and security - the individual observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.
· Transportation- Individual displays the ability to safely transport clients to appointments as needed.
Preferred Experience/ Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must pass mandatory health, drug screen, and background check.
- Has had a tuberculosis (TB) test 60 days prior to hire or at minimum 7 days after employment.
- Has CPR / First Aid certifications
- Must maintain timely renewal for all required certification: Bi-Annual CPR, annual TB testing
- Must provide driving record report if assigned driving responsibilities
