Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Location: Illinois
Type of Facility: Hospital
Length of Assignment: 13 weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: 8p - 6a night shifts for 3 nights per week
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans and X-rays for patients of all ages
- Manage overnight quality assurance procedures
- Work independently, primarily with patients from the ER and occasional urgent inpatient cases
- Operate Canon Aquilion 64e CT Scanner and X-ray equipment
- Adapt to working in a mobile trailer during equipment upgrade (expected in 3-4 weeks)
- Utilize Meditech EMR and Medhost PACS systems
- Handle varying patient volumes on a nightly basis (typically 10-15 patients)
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
Requirements:
- ARRT(R) and BLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in CT and X-ray
- Current Illinois state license
