The Creative Intern supports the Creative team in producing high-quality visual content for major brands throughout Austin and beyond. The ideal candidate is passionate about visual storytelling, social media content creation, and branding and will bring a sharp eye for aesthetics.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in developing content for a variety of client social media channels
- Support photo and video shoots, including assisting with equipment, food styling, and stepping in as a model when needed
- Edit photo and video content using industry-standard software
- Collaborate with the Digital Intern to plan and curate social media content calendars
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas
- Assist with general administrative and production tasks as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be rising Seniors at an accredited college or university
- Preferred majors include Photography, Videography, Fine Art, Marketing, Digital Media, or Communications
- Must have access to reliable transportation and valid driver license
SKILLS:
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Rush)
- Experience in photography videography, and/or motion graphics
- Strong aesthetic sensibility and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Proficient in Google Suite and familiar with social media platforms
- Ability to work independently and collaborate well with others
- Strong problem solving capabilities
- Self-motivated with a drive to set and achieve personal goals
- Demonstrates initiative in learning industry knowledge and terminology
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Sitting 85% of the time, standing 15% of the time
- Working hours vary within window of 9:00 AM CST - 6:00 PM CST, Mondays - Fridays
- Availability to work as needed on nights and weekends
- Ability to lift 20-50 lbs
- Regular use of hands and fingers for computer use
- Everyday use of vision and auditory senses, including exposure to blue light from computers
- Work primarily indoors in an environmentally controlled setting
- Daily communication with peers, media, and clients
- Ability to maintain cognitive thinking and logical reasoning
