  • Skilled in leading conversations and building alignment between CLIENT Staff, contractors, vendor and ability to convey complex information clearly;
  • Ability to process new information, apply reference knowledge and adapt to approaches across varied situations;
  • Proficient with data entry, reporting and business acumen;
  • Recognized for sound judgement, balancing urgency with precision and consistency following through on deliverables.

Are there any specialized skills that must be present for the position to be successful?

  • Demonstrated ability to use Excel for complex reporting, data analysis, and presentation of insights;
  • Strong analytical skills for tracking metrics, reporting trend data and making data-informed decisions;
  • Experience in managing third party vendors, service providers and/or contracts;
  • Experience in identifying inefficiencies and implementing automaton or standardizing process;
  • Familiar with lean methodologies – preferred
  • Familiarity with Project Management Systems – preferred (ie: JIRA, Asana, MS Project, Slack, Salesforce)

Are there any skills or tasks that the resource needs at start of engagement?

  • Strong Project Management skills;
  • Proven experience in operations or business process management;
  • Ability to adapt to fast moving environments;
  • Strengths in support process optimization; knowledge management and documentation to ensure operational consistency

Certifications and qualifications, including education/degree

  • Experience commensurate with a Bachelor's degree (business or operations related); a combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of degree

IT systems that will be used

  • NEIS, O365 (SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word, Office suite), Salesforce, Confluence (JIRA), Asana

Tasks

  • Provide oversight and management of programs to ensure compliance with the Shared Services Strategy;
  • Act as a liaison between implementation contractor and program staff to ensure compliance and address any questions or issues that arise;
  • Evaluate, manage and reconcile budgets, ensuring estimated and actual cost are aligned and reported in a timely manner;
  • Collect, analyze and interpret complex data sets and reports to make actionable recommendations based on findings;
  • Review & analyze data to identify performance trends, flag anomalies, report accuracy and timeliness, while driving continuous improvement in the Shared Services engagement;
  • Manage the full life cycle of Task Work Orders (TWO) — evaluating budgets, development of documentation, data entry through issuance of Purchase Orders
  • Develop, maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy and evaluating similar processes across the processes to identify opportunities for streamlining and simplifying programs;
  • Attend meetings with support contractors and stakeholders to monitor progress, share updates, and escalate issues as needed; and
  • Other duties that contribute toward the key outcomes of the Central Business Services team.
