Job Summary
HVAC Installer will have experience working on HVAC equipment, ductwork, sheet metal and be able to read plans accordingly to layout.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain high-quality customer service
- Ability to install split system, package units, mini splits, heat pumps, variable speed systems, and ductless systems
- Knowledge and ability to fabricate and install ductwork (both flexible and hard pipes)
- Light construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling and at times some electrical work may be required for a task to be completed. (Additional certification maybe needed for electrical work, please review with your manager)
- Determining the right tool and/or equipment for the job.
- Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used.
- Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot a unit.
- Ensure work area is kept neat and clean throughout the job.

REQUIRED Skills and Desired Skills
- Comfortable working directly with consumers in their home
- Ability to use Company-furnished technology
- Refrigeration knowledge
- Welding experience
- Sheet metal fabrication
- Knowledge and understanding of building code compliance.
- Detailed and Goal orientated with a strong desire to succeed.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- General construction knowledge
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma and/or GED certificate
- 1 years’ experience as an HVAC Installer
Physical Demands:
- Push/pull up to 75Lbs.
- Ability to kneeling up to 8 hours.
- Ability to lift up to 75 Lbs.
- Ability to have to be squatting consistently.
- Ability to consistently twist, stoop, bend/crouch, crawl, and reach.
- Ability to sit up to 10 hours.
- Ability to stand up to 10 hours
- Repetitive hand, wrists, arm and leg motion
Pay Scale:
- $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Work Environment:
- Field
- Working in private residences as well as commercial
- While performing the duties of this job, the HVAC Installer will be exposed to:
- Excessive heat/cold, inside/outside work, excessive noise, body mechanic repetitious, work
- Varies weather conditions (wet/dry surfaces), dust/debris, and confining areas of a home for short period of time.
- May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibrations.
- Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shocks

WORK SCHEDULE
- 4/10 shift’s: Mon – Thurs., Tues. – Fri., Wed. – Sat.; 7:00am – 5:00PM
