Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring 18 months of recent permanent ICU experience and active OH or compact RN license.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a Cardiovascular ICU within a hospital critical care setting
- Deliver care to critically ill cardiac patients
- Rotating day and night shifts (3x12 hours), 7:00-19:30 and 19:00-7:30
- All shifts include both days and nights as scheduled
- Uses Qualivis – Lotus system for submitting hours worked
- Return employees may not return within one year from their previous end date
- Local candidates are accepted at the same travel bill rate
- No open background cases will be accepted
- Expect orientation assessments in ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate
- Assignment involves direct care for post-cardiac surgery and critically ill patients
\n \n Requirements\n
- Active OH RN license or compact RN license required at time of application
- Minimum of 18 months recent permanent ICU/Critical Care experience required prior to travel assignments
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- One supervisory reference from the specialty required (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director)
- Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate exam during orientation
