Locums | OB/GYN | Clinic + OB Call | Colorado Springs, CO (IMLC accepted)### Why This Role

### Assignment Details

• Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + OB Call
• Setting: Clinic and Inpatient Labor & Delivery
• Clinic Hours:

- Monday-Friday - 8:00am-5:00pm

• Hospital Call:

- 24-hour in-house OB call - 8:00am-8:00am

• Schedule Structure:

- Approximately 3 clinic days per week - 1 labor & delivery hospital coverage day per week

• Call Rotation:

- Weekday call approximately 1:10 - Weekend call approximately 1:10 - Weekend coverage runs Friday-Monday morning

• Facility will consider:

- Hospital-only coverage - Providers available 1 week/month - Providers available minimum 2 weeks/month

• EMR: Epic

### Requirements

• Board Certified OB/GYN
• Active CO license or Active IMLC LOQ
• Minimum availability:

- 2 weeks per month preferred### Clinical Details

• OB/GYN practice setting
• Clinic volume:

- Approximately 20 patients per day

• Average deliveries:

- Approximately 8 per week

• Average OB/GYN surgeries:

- Approximately 8 per week

• Case Mix:

- 70% low-risk OB - 10% high-risk OB - 30% C-section rate

• Group Structure:

- 5 OB/GYN physicians - 2 APPs

• Ultrasound onsite
• No supervision of APPs required

### Required Procedures

• Low-risk obstetrics
• FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
• Vaginal deliveries
• C-sections
• Breech deliveries
• Multiple births
• VBACs
• Repair of 3rd/4th degree lacerations
• Decision-making for operative deliveries

### Preferred Procedures

• High-risk OB
• OB ultrasound interpretation
• Office gynecology procedures:

- IUDs - Colposcopy - LEEP - Cryosurgery
