Job DescriptionThe Opportunity: Estate Planning Attorney Email resumes to: Hayley.christina@capstonesp.comOur client, a highly respected and nationally recognized law firm, is seeking an exceptional Estate Planning Attorney with a strong focus on tax planning to join its sophisticated Trusts & Estates practice. This is a unique opportunity to work with high-net-worth individuals, families, and closely held businesses on complex estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax matters.The ideal candidate will bring 3 to 6 years of experience in estate planning, tax structuring, and wealth preservation strategies. This role involves high-level client interaction, cross-department collaboration, and the chance to contribute to a market-leading practice known for its integrity, innovation, and results.Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on estate, gift, income, and generation-skipping transfer tax strategies
  • Draft and review sophisticated estate planning documents, including irrevocable trusts, GRATs, IDGTs, FLPs, and charitable trusts
  • Develop and implement wealth transfer strategies for high-net-worth individuals and family offices
  • Provide legal guidance on tax-efficient succession planning for family-owned businesses
  • Support the firm’s fiduciary administration practice as needed, including probate and trust administration
  • Collaborate with other attorneys in tax, corporate, and real estate practice groups
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state tax laws affecting estate planning

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and admission to at least one U.S. state bar (preferably [insert state])
  • 3–6 years of experience in estate planning and transfer tax law at a law firm or boutique estate planning practice
  • LL.M. in Taxation preferred but not required
  • Deep understanding of federal income and transfer tax rules applicable to individuals, trusts, and estates
  • Demonstrated excellence in drafting complex estate planning instruments
  • Strong interpersonal and client-relations skills, with a high degree of professionalism
  • Exceptional analytical, research, and written communication abilities
