Salud Family Health is an FQHC / Community Health Center.
Since 1970, Salud has been committed to providing a Medical Home to patients, where medical, dental, behavioral health services, and clinical pharmacists work together and coordinate efforts in a team-based system of care. We strive to improve the quality of our patient's lives who would otherwise have limited access to health care. We serve all individuals regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay.
Job Description
Pharmacist performs a professional service in dispensing medication, diagnosis, and treatment of SALUD patients. The Pharmacist approaches his/her tasks in a team-based care fashion that supports patients and their families in a self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change. This would include patients in the ambulatory setting as well as the corresponding hospital.
We offer:
- Starting annual salary range - $62.37/hr. to $69.78/hr.
- Full-Time
- Monday to Friday – 8 am to 5:30 pm

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Pharm D preferred
Experience:
- Experience working at a Community Health Center pharmacy preferred
Licensure:
- Possess a license to practice pharmacy in good standing in the State of Colorado
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Working knowledge of the principles and practices of general medicine
- Thorough knowledge of the pharmaceutical treatment of a variety of diseases and injuries
- Must work well with the other patient care team members
- Ability to gain the confidence of patients and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with them and with other employees
- Ability to speak Spanish preferred
- Sensitivity to low-income and ethnic minority communities is a must
