Qualifications
- Current, active OT license in Florida is required
- Background or experience working in pediatric settings preferred
- Proficient with PDMS (Peabody Developmental Motor Scales), BOT (Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency), and VMI (Beery-Buktenica Developmental Test of Visual Motor Integration) assessments
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to students ages PreK-22, adapting interventions to meet individualized needs
- Conduct thorough evaluations using standardized assessments including PDMS, BOT, and VMI
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized plans to help students achieve their greatest functional independence
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress notes
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success in both school-based and clinical settings
- Manage a varied caseload, with more specific details to be discussed during the interview process
