Join our team as a mechanic with Transervice Logistics providing fleet maintenance at the Kroger Distribution Center in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and repairs on a large fleet of over-the-road tractors and trailers. As a valued member of our maintenance team, you will play a key role in supporting a critical logistics operation while working in a challenging and rewarding environment with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Key Responsibilities for Diesel Mechanic/Technician

• Perform all preventive maintenance inspections, state and federal safety inspections, and repairs in accordance with DOT requirements
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, including hydraulics, engines, transmissions, air and hydraulic systems, tires, drive-train, steering, suspension, electrical, and A/C
• Maintain and repair tractors, trailers, refrigeration systems (Thermo King and/or Carrier preferred), and Material Handling Equipment (MHE)
• Evaluate and repair tractors, and trailers
• Ensure all repairs are complete and equipment is work-ready
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the work environment
• Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records

• Certification from a diesel mechanic trade schoolorminimum 5 years of diesel mechanic experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of hydraulics and electrical systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Own set of tools required
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; basic math skills
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE and/or manufacturer certifications
• Paccar experience
• Thermo King and/or Carrier refrigeration experience
• Crown forklift experience
• CDL license preferred
