ProCare Therapy is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed ClinicalSocial Worker for a school district in Redwood City, CA for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. This role involves supporting students' social, emotional, and academic success by providing direct services, resources, and advocacy. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with educators, families, and the community to create a positive learning environment.

- Position: Contract Social Worker -LCSW
- Type: Contract W2 Employment
- Location:High School
- Schedule:Monday - Friday
- Hours: 7:30 - 3:30
- Compensation: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications
- Payment: Weekly direct deposit
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to identify students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Provide counseling services to individuals and small groups.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies to address student challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student well-being.
- Act as a liaison between the school, families, and community resources.
- Assist in crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies.
- Maintain detailed and confidential records of student interactions and services.
Requirements
- Masters degree in Social Work(LCSW)
- Active CaliforniaSocial Worker license
- California Pupil Personnel Service Credential required
- Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality.
