Cavallo farm is a private adult only horse farm located in Granby, CT currently looking for a full time farm worker/manager. This individual MUST have horse experience and will be responsible for managing the farm and our average of 8-9 show horses, one miniature donkey, chickens, and 4 sheep.
Daily tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Stalls
- Water buckets
- Sweeping/Tidying the barn
- Haying & Graining horses (both AM & PM)
- Nightcheck
- Managing blankets & turnout
- Overseeing the weight & well-being of the horses
- Dragging indoor ring (and outdoor ring when weather permits)
****This is a salaried position with a private home off property and an opportunity for a stall for one horse.
