Job Opportunity – Operating Room RN – Florida

Start Date: July 6, 2026
Location: Davie, Florida
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 or 40 guaranteed hours per week; on-call requirement of 1 shift per week and 2 weekend shifts per month

Highlights:

• Operating room focus on robotics, orthopedics, and neurology procedures
• Experience with Da Vinci Xi and Mako robotic surgical systems
• Epic EMR charting system preferred
• Teaching facility environment with opportunities to mentor students and new staff
• 18 operating rooms with diverse case mix including minimally invasive and complex surgical procedures
• Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs

Requirements:

• Active Florida RN license or compact license with eligibility for Florida endorsement
• Minimum 2 years of direct RN operating room experience required
• Strong robotics, orthopedic, and neurology OR experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required at time of submission
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start date
• Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine/cotinine test required – must be nicotine-free
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required with medical or religious exemptions only
• Two professional references from direct supervisors or unit managers
• Completion of pre-start modules and successful passing of EKG and pharmacology tests during orientation
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
