Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Job Requirements:
Applicants must meet all New Hampshire state and local requirements to be eligible for this role, including:

A bachelors degree (or higher) in Special Education or a related field from an accredited institution

Valid New Hampshire educator license with a Special Education endorsement issued by the New Hampshire Department of Education (NHED)

Completion of all required background checks and fingerprinting as mandated by the state and local district
-
Familiarity with the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Prior school-based or special education experience is strongly preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Special Education Teachers in this role will be responsible for providing individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities. Responsibilities typically include:

Developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs tailored to student needs

Providing specialized instruction in a variety of settings (inclusive, resource, or self-contained)

Collaborating with general education staff, related service providers, and families to promote student success

Assessing student progress and maintaining thorough documentation
-
Ensuring compliance with IDEA, state, and district policies and procedures
-
Creating a positive and structured classroom environment to support learning
