Job Profile Summary:
As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will lead and oversee inventory control operations in a warehouse environment. Your role is critical in minimizing inventory discrepancies and supporting operational efficiency, as well as warehouse layout, design and efficiency.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure all products are properly accounted for and inventory levels are maintained with the highest degree of accuracy.
- Supervise inventory control staff, coordinate warehouse operations, and collaborate with management to develop and enforce inventory control policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Supervise daily inventory control activities including pulling for batch orders, putaways, counting, recording, and verifying stock levels.
- Lead efforts to identify, investigate, and resolve inventory discrepancies and root cause issues. Including relation to bin location accuracy.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates to inventory records in warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Schedule and oversee regular cycle counts and full inventory audits.
- Generate, analyze, and present reports on inventory levels, variances, and trends.
- Train, coach, and evaluate inventory control staff to ensure compliance with procedures and improve performance.
- Collaborate with warehouse leadership to align inventory practices with operational goals.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized inventory area in accordance with company standards.
- Comply with the requirements of the company’s Quality Management System.
Desired Skill, Experience, and Education:
- Epicor or similar ERP experience
- Warehouse procedural and layout experience
- Process control, design, setup with testing and validation experience
- General understanding of warehouse functions and coordination of connected activities
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish
Certificates and Licenses:
Forklift Safety Certification (taken annually)
