Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract position is available for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support students in a dynamic school setting in San Francisco, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with educational staff to assess, diagnose, and provide treatment for speech and language disorders, helping students achieve their communication goals in an engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify student needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students across various grade levels.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based speech and language therapy techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Familiarity with IDEA and special education regulations is a plus.
