Family Medicine with Behavioral Health / Residency Faculty Opening in MinnesotaLocated in Grand Rapids, Minnesota - Duluth 84mAbout the PositionFull-time Family Medicine physician opportunity with a focus on behavioral health, addiction medicine, and residency faculty responsibilities. This role combines direct patient care with teaching and program support in a new ACGME-accredited rural Family Medicine residency program. Practice Details-1.0 FTE position-60% direct patient care-40% residency faculty, teaching, and program support-Team-based primary care environment-Integrated behavioral health and addiction medicine focus-Days and evenings schedule-Collaborative work with behavioral health clinicians, residents, primary care providers, and mental health professionals-Responsibilities include resident supervision, curriculum development, quality improvement, and program advancement Candidate Requirements-MD or DO-Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine-Experience in integrated primary care models-Interest in and some experience with addiction medicine-Strong interest in supporting a rural residency program-Eligible for medical licensure and DEA registration-Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience post-residency, with fellowship time counting toward this requirement Preferred Qualifications-Fellowship training in Addiction Medicine or Board Certification in Addiction Medicine-Experience teaching in a residency or academic setting-Experience developing MOUD programs-Leadership experience in behavioral health or addiction services-Research or quality improvement experience in addiction medicine or integrated care Compensation and Benefits-Compensation starts at $350,000 for 1.0 FTE-Comprehensive benefits package-Generous paid time off-CME allowance-Malpractice insurance-Retirement contributions-Health, dental, and vision coverage-401(k) / 457(b)-Disability and long-term care benefits-Professional liability coverage Community Highlights-Located in Grand Rapids in northern Minnesota-Serving a primary service area of approximately 50,000 people-Three hours from Minneapolis-About 90 minutes from Duluth
