Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

RPh on the Go is actively hiring two Staff Pharmacists for a 12-week contract with the potential for direct hire. This opportunity is in a Long-Term Care (LTC) mail order pharmacy setting with rotating 8-hour shifts and weekends.

Position Details:
Location: Maine
Setting: Long-Term Care / Mail Order Pharmacy
Schedule: Monday - Friday, rotating 8-hour shifts between 7am - 9pm; rotating weekends
Rotating Shifts: 7:30am - 4pm; 11am - 7:30pm; 12:30pm - 9pm
Duration: 12 weeks (potential for direct hire)

Key Responsibilities:
Accept and dispense prescription medications
Monitor patient medication compliance and usage patterns
Ensure legal compliance and appropriateness of prescribed medications
Maintain and manage confidential patient records and pharmacy files
Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, interactions, and storage
Provide patient services (e.g., smoking cessation, BP/cholesterol monitoring, medical device education)
Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions as needed
Supervise pharmacy staff, including technicians and clerks
Maintain pharmaceutical and medical supply inventory
Identify and communicate drug-related issues to healthcare providers
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other pharmacy professionals

Requirements:
Maine Pharmacist license required
Pharmacist experience required
LTC pharmacy experience a plus
