This full-time, contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF) seeking a K-12 school setting position in Walhalla, SC. The assignment runs from August 5 through May 22, offering experience within a comprehensive educational environment serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, evaluations, and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with educators and support staff during paid team meetings.
- Complete required indirect hours such as administrative duties and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Valid South Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Educator Speech-Language Therapist Certificate.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, or completion of a Certificate of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for Clinical Fellows.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational or healthcare settings.
- Ability to conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and provide therapeutic interventions within a school environment.
Additional Details:
- No openings for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
- Indirect work time, including administrative tasks and team meetings, is compensated.
- Fingerprinting and background clearance are mandatory before beginning the assignment.
