Pay: $30.76 – $41.50/hr (DOE)
Differentials: Nights +$4.75/hr • Weekends +$3.00/hr • National cert +$2.00/hr
Schedule: Full-time • Days or Nights (Rotating Weekends)
Sign-On: $10k Days • $15k Nights — 2% on 1st/2nd paycheck; remainder in 6-month increments
Relocation: Up to $5,000 with HR approval (case-by-case)
Location: Bradenton, FL (Gulf Coast)

Job Description
Overview
Join a high-volume Medical-Surgical team at a 380+ bed hospital with award-winning programs and a Level II Trauma Center. Unit ratio 6:1 with strong preceptor support and clear pathways to grow across med-surg populations.
Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive assessments; escalate changes promptly; maintain precise documentation.

Administer medications and therapies safely; track responses and adverse events.

Coordinate diagnostics/consults; partner on throughput, discharge readiness, and readmission reduction.

Deliver clear patient/family education on conditions, meds, and follow-up plans.

Uphold safety bundles (falls/infection prevention) and crisp SBAR handoffs.
Qualifications
Required
-
Active Florida RN (or compact; obtain active FL within 60 days if compact).

1+ year RN experience (acute care required).

BLS (AHA or ARC) at start; ACLS within 6 months.

ASN/ADN or Nursing Diploma (BSN preferred).

Able to meet physical demands (frequent standing/bending; safe handling up to ~50 lbs).

Onsite interview is mandatory.
Also Considered

LTACH, Home Health, or Rehab backgrounds with strong med-surg readiness and acute transition skills.

Base: $30.76–$41.50/hr (experience-based).
