Retail Pharmacist Day Shifts | Temp-to-Hire | 13-Week Assignment
Location: Los Alamos, New Mexico

RPh on the Go is currently seeking a licensed Retail Pharmacist for a 13-week temp-to-perm opportunity with a high-volume community pharmacy in Los Alamos, NM. This is a great opportunity for pharmacists who enjoy fast-paced environments and patient interaction, with the potential to transition into a permanent role.

Position Summary:

This role is ideal for a pharmacist who is adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable overseeing workflow in a busy retail setting. Youll be responsible for quality assurance, technician oversight, and ensuring excellent patient care.

Schedule Details:

• Duration: 13 Weeks (Temp-to-Hire)

• Shifts: Daytime schedule start times may vary (either 8:30 AM or 9:30 AM)

• Pharmacy Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM 6:30 PM

• Saturday: 9:00 AM 2:00 PM (rotating weekends required)

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians throughout the day

• Verify non-sterile compounded prescriptions (USP 800 compliant) no compounding required

• Counsel patients and provide high-level customer service

• Ensure accuracy in prescription dispensing

• Help manage a fast-moving retail workflow pharmacy averages 600 prescriptions daily

Qualifications:

• Active and clear New Mexico Pharmacist license (required)

• Familiarity with non-sterile compounding standards is a plus

• Experience in high-volume retail settings is highly preferred

• Open to recent graduates with the right skill set and adaptability

• Previous use of PioneerRx system is helpful but not required
