Position: Life Coach
Time Commitment: 40 Hours per week

Telos U is a Residential Treatment Center for Young Adults ages 17-27. The mission of Telos is to create inspiring interpersonal relationships that invite and assist all people to move toward their ultimate potential.
The Life Coach is a key member of each student’s support system. They will collaborate with each student’s team to provide direct observation and support of students while those students are involved in activities off campus, such as work, school, or social activities. Telos U will provide specific training in Life Coach skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry a caseload of 5 students.
- Attend Student Team meetings to collaborate with other key members of each student’s team.
- Participate in the Student Team Call every other week.
- Utilize a scaffolding approach to bolster a student’s ability to function in off-campus settings, then gradually taper back the external support as a student develops the capacity to function more independently.
- Chart and report on all student interactions with the other members of the Student Team in a prompt and accurate manner.
- Take the lead in attending to any student crises that may happen off-campus.

Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree, with a background in education, psychology, human development, or autism studies preferred (although diversity in education is welcomed).
- A warm, caring, patient interpersonal style.
- The ability to hold healthy and clear interpersonal boundaries.
