SRC Operations Manager Job Description
Duties:
- Business development
- Work with leadership in Indy to expand SRC scope and revenue.
- Look at upcoming work (with general manager as needed)
- Work on estimating with Indy as needed.
- Expand crews as needed to cover new work added.
- Expand new markets. Meet new and existing customers.
- Join local trade associations.
- Expand customer base.
- Work towards establishing partnerships with other firms to build work.
- Establish relationships with local vendors for best deals.
- Profit and Loss Review with MWM Holdings Management
- Obtain necessary contracting licenses for the business
- Assist with creation and implementation of company policies
- Accounting
- Project Management
- Utility Locates
- Etc.
- Establish goals for SRC
- Make sure Company Safety Standards are followed
- Coordinate necessary safety training etc.
- Make sure any accident or incident is reported properly
- Coordinate necessary HR and IT-related items with MWM Holdings.
- Assist with emergency response as needed to help look at projects or help kick off an emergency project as needed.
- Hire and fire as necessary.
- Perform reviews and raises of employees
- Project management functions
- Submittals
- Create budgets
- Submit T&M proposals
- Code Accounts Payable Invoices
- Review invoices and credit card charges
- Utility locates
- Coordination
- Ensure work being built to plans and specs and SRC (MWM) expectations.
- Billings
- Change order notification, estimates, and processing.
- Bar Charts as needed
- WIP
- Revenue forecasting
- Create schedules and update and maintain.
