Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
RPh on the Go is currently seeking a qualified Director of Pharmacy for a full-time contract opportunity in California. This position will run through the end of the year and is ideal for an experienced pharmacy leader who excels in compliance, regulatory operations, and hospital pharmacy management.

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with hospital, state, and federal regulations
- Manage policies and procedures (crosswalk), regulatory initiatives, and compliance programs
- Oversee Bluesight, MERP, ASP, P&T Committee involvement, and pharmacy chargemaster responsibilities
- Coordinate with 340b team (experience required; hands-on management not necessary)
- Supervise a team of 56 pharmacists and 67 technicians, with PRN support available
- Utilize Paragon/Allscripts for order entry and Pyxis for automation
- No compounding, PIC designation, or staffing duties required
Requirements:
- Active and clear California Pharmacist license
- Prior Director of Pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
- Strong background in policy and procedure management, compliance, and regulatory leadership
- Experience with Bluesight, MERP, ASP, P&T, and pharmacy chargemaster
- 340b knowledge and familiarity with automated dispensing systems
