Seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) for our MinuteClinic Core Float team in Cedar Grove, NJ. The NP will collaborate with a dedicated clinical care team to provide evidence-based primary and family care to a panel of patients. The role includes assessment, diagnosis, treatment, chronic disease management, health counseling, and disposition planning. This position reports to the Practice Manager and is patient-facing. Key Responsibilities:
Provide primary and family care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and patient management.
Deliver health counseling and education to encourage patients’ active participation in their care.
Perform routine examinations, diagnostic testing, and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
Handle administrative duties such as opening/closing the clinic, patient follow-up, insurance verification, payment collection, inventory management, and maintaining a clean clinical environment.
Collaborate with the clinical care team to improve patient outcomes and quality of care.
Adhere to safety-sensitive protocols and CVS Health standards. Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner program) with current National Board Certification.
State license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
Minimum 1 year of recent primary care or family medicine NP experience preferred (ER/urgent care experience highly valued).
Current BLS certification required (copy provided upon offer acceptance).
