A school district in Medina, OH, is seeking two full-time School Psychologists to support K-12 students during the upcoming school year. These positions are contract roles, offering an opportunity to work in a supportive and well-regarded educational environment. Candidates will be assigned to either an elementary school or a high school setting, providing specialized psychological services tailored to the grade level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students in grades K-12
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and interventions to support student mental health, social-emotional development, and academic success
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise on student needs
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with district and state guidelines
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid Ohio School Psychologist licensure or certification
- Experience working with diverse student populations across elementary and secondary levels preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school staff
- Knowledge of education laws, assessment techniques, and evidence-based interventions
