Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for developing best practices around the evolution from legacy systems to cloud-native infrastructure, ensuring scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud operations. You will engineer robust Red Hat OpenShift container environments in alignment with compliance standards and support full lifecycle DevOps practices. This role requires experience with infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, and cloud technologies.


Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement OpenShift solutions

· Administer, troubleshoot, and tune new and existing OpenShift and/or Kubernetes deployments

· Participate in the migration from legacy mainframe systems to cloud-native architectures

· Engineer and support all solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible

· Debug and maintain cloud-based distributed systems and services

· Manage cloud cost optimization and ensure cloud transformations

· Develop and configure VPCs, account management, and routing/security protocols

· Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines across multiple teams and environments

· Implement and support core cloud technologies in OpenShift



Requirements

Must-Have Skills:

1) 3 years of experience in infrastructure support, delivery, engineering, and architecture

2) 3 years of hands-on experience with cloud development, configuration, and support

3) Experience developing containers and administering DevOps with OpenShift

4) Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)

5) Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

6) Understanding of scripting languages (Python, Bash, Perl)


Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

1) Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

2) Experience in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Active Directory / Group Policy
