• Healthcare Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry – 7 Observation Unit\n
• Contract Length: 13-week travel nursing contract\n
• Start Date: January 9, 2026\n
• End Date: April 10, 2026\n
• Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 – 07:30)\n
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1780–$1910\n
• Employment Type: Travel RN contract\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience in a hospital setting\n
• Active Ohio RN license or Compact State Registered Nurse license required at time of application\n
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS certifications (active, not pending)\n
• One supervisory reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in Med/Surg Tele specialty\n
• Ability to work at least every other holiday during the contract period\n
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)\n
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation\n
• Background check and onsite fingerprinting required prior to start date\n
• Completion of required nursing modules before assignment begins\n

\n\nMed/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Provide high-quality patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit\n
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans\n
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians\n
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EMR\n
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions\n
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and patient safety standards\n
