<p>An <strong>excavator-trench operator</strong> is responsible for <strong>operating excavating and loading equipment</strong> Ability to work on construction sites, following blueprints and instructions from supervisors to dig holes, move earth, and clear land. They operate machinery such as trenchers, vacuum, bobcat - and be able to assist the building process by removing and relocating debris</p>
<p><strong>Excavation duties include but are not limited to the following:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Digging, moving and grading the earth using heavy machinery for various construction projects</li>
<li>Preparing the site for foundations, utilities, landscaping and other features</li>
<li>Inspecting the quality and suitability of materials</li>
<li>Loading and unloading trucks with materials</li>
<li>Operating hand tools to break up soil or rocks</li>
<li>Compacting the soil to ensure a stable surface</li>
