A K-12 school in Hillsboro, OR, is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support student communication and language development. This full-time, hybrid position offers a blend of in-person engagement with flexibility for remote work components, serving a diverse student population within the Northwest Regional Educational Service District (NWRESD).
Key Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) preferred; Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Valid School SLP credential or eligibility
- Experience working with school-aged children (K-12)
- Strong assessment and intervention skills for a variety of speech and language disorders
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Location:
- Hillsboro, Oregon, within the NWRESD, specifically serving the Tillamook area
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services addressing communication delays or disorders
- Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and progress notes
- Participate in team meetings and student support planning
