What a Maintenance Technician will do:
- Arrive on time and maintain a clean, professional appearance
- Repair and maintain company equipment and vehicles
- Perform minor truck repairs and routine maintenance on facility systems
- Secure proper work permits (hot work/confined space) before starting repairs
- Keep maintenance records and ensure tools and supplies are organized
- Conduct safety checks (fire extinguishers, alarms, detectors, etc.)
- Maintain supply levels for parts and materials
- Fill in for plant or driving positions as needed
- Assist with truck loading/unloading
- Help with cleaning and general plant maintenance
What you need to be a Maintenance Technician:
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks
- Problem-solving and diagnostic abilities
- Physical ability to lift, climb, and work in tight spaces
- Mechanical knowledge of equipment, tools, and repair techniques
