Job Summary:
The Electronic Billing (Ebilling) Coordinator completes all processes related to the electronic exchange of billing and other information between the Firm and its clients (“ebilling”). The Ebilling Coordinator will work directly with the Firm’s clients and with personnel across all the Firm’s offices and at various levels throughout the organization.
Job Responsabilities:
- Manage client implementations on applicable ebilling systems. Effectively communicate with appropriate personnel the timeline for implementation and the specific ebilling system requirements.
- Address and respond to questions on ebilling issues.
- Monitor assigned inventory for rejections, disputes, and reductions. Assess the issue and effectively communicate to appropriate personnel the timeline for resolution. Including escalating stale issues to management.
- Manage submissions of new timekeepers for assigned clients, ensure the new timekeepers are accepted in a timely manner, and follow up as necessary to resolve any issues.
- Review new ebilling matters and provide quality control to ensure all relevant ebilling information is properly entered into the billing system to ensure that invoices are successfully submitted. Follow up with the billing team, partners, secretaries, and clients to obtain the required information.
- Assist with the annual firm-wide rate submittal process for ebilling clients.
- Assist the billing and collection teams in troubleshooting ebilling issues.
- Work with the eBillingHub and ebilling vendors to resolve ebilling problems.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing with attorneys, staff, vendors, and clients.
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality client service to both internal and external contacts, regarding matters of a routine nature.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work in a dynamic and complex environment to meet deadlines and daily requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare analysis of complex issues and information.
- Advanced knowledge of ebilling vendors, eBillingHub, including troubleshooting and resolving rejections and setup issues.
- Advanced knowledge of various Legal Electronic Data Exchange Standard (LEDES) billing formats (specifications, limitations, etc.)
- Demonstrated intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Windows applications.
Requirements:
The position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. Equivalent training and experience may substitute for education.
The position requires a minimum of three (3) years of ebilling/billing experience in a law firm or professional services firm.

Our Firm is committed to fair and equitable compensation practice in accordance with applicable laws. The pay range for this position is $71,000-$107,000. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus. Other benefits include healthcare, vision, dental, retirement, and all-purpose leave. The salary for this position may vary based on location, market data, an applicant’s skills and prior experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other factors.
