JENNMAR Services is hiring a Maintenance Technician in a climate controlled manufacturing

plant, J-Lok Corp in Earlington, KY!


Pay will start at $24.00/ hour with JMS with the intent to hire at J-Lok Corp.

JENNMAR Services and J-Lok Corp provide excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life

J-Lok Corp offers up to 12%-401K match, eligibility for quarterly bonuses, and excellent health

insurance begins first of the month following 60 days.

Available Shifts:

 Midnights 3pm - 11pm. Overtime is required as needed.

JOB SUMMARY: This is an entry-level, training maintenance position where the employee

possesses fundamental mechanical and electrical knowledge to perform inside/outside routine

maintenance or preventive maintenance for building(s), grounds, machines, and equipment that

includes setup and adjustments for production runs and installation/repair of machines and

equipment following standard operating and safety procedures. Employee may interact with

vendors to obtain estimates and submits orders for repair parts and supplies as needed.

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

 High School/GED Required

 Valid Driver’s License Required

 One-to-Two (1-2) Years Maintenance-Related Experience Required

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

 Possess dependability to be consistently at work and on time with ability to work

40+ flexible schedule as required

 Possess ability to read and comprehend written instruction; follow verbal

directives; follow general and maintenance-specific safety procedures and

guidelines

 Possess functional mathematical ability including knowledge of fractions and

decimals to perform basic math calculations and measurement computing using

tape measure and/or micrometers

 Possess functional mechanical knowledge with ability to develop good fabricating

and trouble-shooting skills including pneumatic and hydraulic systems

 Possess working knowledge of operational functions for general maintenance

equipment including cranes, forklifts, milling machines, lathes, welding and

cutting equipment, and hand/power tools

 Possess basic computer skills

 Possess a “Team Member” mentality with a QA/safety oriented mindset when

performing maintenance duties or operational instruction


 Possess self-motivational skills to perform duties without direct supervision with

ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure

 Possess functional communication skills to interact with management, co-

workers, and outside vendors

 Possess close visual acuity, near/far vision, and multiple limb coordination

 Possess manual dexterity and moderate/heavy (20-80 lbs) lifting capability while

performing essential job duties

 Possess repetitive standing, walking, and/or bending capability during normal

phase duties

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

 Conduct a safety evaluation of work area prior to performing maintenance

actions.

 Perform at a training-level capacity inside/outside, routine maintenance or

preventive maintenance actions for building(s), grounds, machines, and

equipment following standard operating and safety procedures. Maintenance

actions include setup actions for product runs; troubleshooting, repairing, and

installing machinery/equipment; calibrating and repairing pneumatic systems;

inspection of belts, fluid levels, filters, bearings, seals, etc.; providing corrective

actions as required.

 Perform at a training-level capacity inside/outside, minor/major emergency

repairs as required for building(s), grounds, machines, and equipment following

standard operating and safety procedures.

 Perform at a training-level capacity computerized control and monitoring of

mechanical equipment.

 Perform housekeeping actions adhering to post maintenance/repair procedures.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Travel to other plants to perform maintenance actions as required.

 Maintain scheduled maintenance procedures records for building(s), grounds,

machines, or equipment by completing weekly and/or monthly checklists as

required by ISO regulations.

 Perform any other general labor duties as directed by supervisory personnel to

ensure efficient operation of facility.

 The ability to assist production with product in the plant.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:


 Majority of work performance is conducted in a resin manufacturing plant

environment using heavy production machinery, material handling and job-

specific equipment and tools. Plant safety and machine-specific safety

procedures are strictly enforced and compliant with Federal OSHA and/or State

regulations.

 Safety training, written procedures, and continual improvement measures are

implemented to eliminate or control any physical/environmental hazards that

may be present in the workplace.

 Employee use of personal protective equipment is enforced for all phases of job

performance to prevent bodily injury.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

 Job performance demands constant application of the following physical

requirements: use of hands.

 Job performance demands frequent application of the following physical

requirements: lifting (Avg. 20 lbs), walking, standing, bending, fine

manipulation, close visual acuity, near/far vision, upper limb coordination,

multiple limb coordination

 Job performance demands occasional application of the following physical

requirements: lifting (Max. 80 lbs.), carrying, sitting, reaching, overhead

reaching/lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, kneeling, twisting, climbing,

balancing, foot controls, driving, total visual field.
