Heavy Equipment Crane Service Technician
Position Summary
Truck Crane Solutions is seeking a Heavy Equipment Crane Service Technician. Some hands-on experience with electronics and/or hydraulics required but additional training will be provided for the right individual. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with comprehensive Benefits package.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on all makes of cranes.
- Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components as needed
- Reads, understands and interprets operating manuals and parts manuals
- Positive interface with service writers, supervisor, parts department and customers
- Prepare proper documentation of actions taken
- Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience Requirements
- Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
- Prefer a strong hydraulic and electrical background
- Must have basic set of mechanic’s hand tools
- Ability to work safely around moving machinery; to work in conditions with marked changes in temperature & humidity
- Able to lift 50 lbs
Training will be an integral part of this position. Applicant must be willing to learn new computer, electronic and hydraulic systems, follow safety guidelines as they evolve in our industry.
