Job DescriptionSnelling is currently recruiting for a Construction Project Manager for the Birmingham Area!! The Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of new construction projects. This will include quality control, scheduling, managing subcontractors and customer care.
Responsibilities for Construction Project Manager:

Planning, scheduling, implementation, and coordination of quality-built homes on a timely & efficient basis.
Provision of managerial oversight of home construction
Implement, monitor, and drive the project schedule.
Must be proactive in anticipating potential problems that may impact the project performance.
Oversee the scheduling, delivery & use of materials, the quality of construction, worker productivity & compliance with building/safety codes.
Complete homes and all NHO items prior to closing
Conduct Home Buyer meetings with Customers

Qualifications for Construction Project Manager:

3-5 years of homebuilding experience preferred.
Experience in understanding government and industry specifications for home construction.
Proven organization skills in a high paced work environment.
Ability to adapt in a changing workplace.
Computer literacy, proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point and ability to learn new programs as needed.

Working Conditions for Construction Project Manager:

This is often times a roll up your sleeves and get it done position.
The Project Manager’s work is almost always performed in the field, i.e. home building construction sites. Occasional work will be performed in a typical office environment and may involve the use of standard office equipment.
Fast paced environment subject to numerous schedule and priority changes and short notice activity.

Salary Range for Construction Project Manager:

$85,000-105,000, depending on previous work experience.
Health insurance and 401K along with bonus opportunities may be available.
