Precision Solder Technicians Needed – 1st Shift, J-STD Certified | 22–23/hr
PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading Electronics Manufacturer in Maple Grove, MN to hire Solder Technicians. This is a hands-on opportunity for skilled professionals to perform Class III hand soldering and contribute to the production of high-quality electronic components.
Shift & Pay:

Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

22–23/hr
What You’ll Do
• Perform Class III hand soldering on SMT, Through-Hole, and Flex assemblies under a microscope
• Fabricate and prep wiring, components, and sub-assemblies for PCBA integration
• Conduct cleaning, rework, and part preparation using approved tools and processes
• Read and follow detailed work instructions, drawings, and ESD/ISO quality standards
• Complete production documentation and support process improvements
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year soldering experience to IPC-A-610 workmanship standards
• J-STD-001 certification (or ability to certify upon hire)
• Skilled in soldering fine-pitch and micro-components under a scope
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to pass visual acuity and color-vision assessments
• High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in electronics manufacturing or ISO/AS/Nadcap-certified environment

Pay Details: 22.00 to 23.00 per hour
