Job Title: Production Associate
Job Description
Join a renowned manufacturer of specialty flexible and rigid-flex printed circuits, flexible heaters, and value-added assemblies. This position is based in Bloomington, MN, within a company that serves mission-critical applications across various industries including medical, aerospace, defense, telecommunications, and industrial manufacturing. This hands-on role is perfect for detail-oriented and mechanically inclined individuals eager to grow within a high-tech manufacturing environment. Opportunities for long-term employment are available, starting on a contract basis.
Responsibilities
- Read and follow route sheets and blueprints.
- Apply adhesives and sealants using appropriate tools.
- Operate conveyor machines to load panels.
- Inspect work according to IPC standards.
- Enter and move work orders using the Paradigm system.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Cross-train in other production areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
- Work toward becoming a certified operator.

- Basic computer proficiency.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and IPC specifications.
- Comfortable working with chemicals and fumes.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand movements.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- U.S. person status as defined by ITAR (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, the person, or Refugee).
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Team collaboration and communication.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
- Familiarity with manufacturing environments, soldering, PCB, electronic assembly, solder, blueprint, circuit board, SMT.
- Experience in printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing.
- Prior experience in cleanroom or electronics assembly environments.
- IPC certification or familiarity with IPC standards.

Work Environment
Production Specialists work in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment focused on precision and quality. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
