Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in grades K-7 within a K-12 educational setting located in Washington Navy Yard, DC. This contract position spans the 2025/2026 school year and offers a meaningful role delivering speech and language services to approximately 40 students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with diverse communicative needs
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to enhance student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports following state and federal guidelines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working in healthcare, pediatrics, or school-based settings
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Expertise addressing a variety of pediatric speech and language disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills conducive to teamwork

Location:

  • Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC, within a K-12 school environment serving Kindergarten through 7th grade
