Job Title: Center Associate

Job Summary
The UPS Store is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Center Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and providing excellent service in a fast-paced environment. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with flexible scheduling options.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide outstanding customer service in person, over the phone, and via email
- Listen carefully to customer needs and offer effective solutions
- Take ownership of customer shipping concerns and provide viable resolutions
- Operate store equipment, software, and devices efficiently (training provided if needed)
- Pack items for shipment following established procedures
- Receive, process, and prepare packages for shipment, including weighing and labeling
- Assist customers with packages, including lifting and retrieving items from vehicles when necessary
- Complete end-of-day procedures including cash, check, and credit card reconciliation
- Perform general housekeeping and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Complete other duties as assigned
Schedule
- Full-time and part-time positions available
- Flexible schedule
- Store Hours:
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Sunday: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Requirements
- High school diploma (required)
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to learn and operate store equipment and software
