The Pharmacy Fill Technician would be working for Polaris Pharmacy Services and has career growth potential. This would be full-time / 40+ hours per week.

Pharmacy Fill Technician Compensation
- The pay for this position is $20 per hour
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Pharmacy Fill Technician Highlights
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- The required availability for this position is 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM with some weekend shifts as needed
- No on-call required
Pharmacy Fill Technician Responsibilities
- Pull and pick medications from shelving and other storage areas
- Perform final accuracy checks before pharmacist verification
- Fill daily drug orders efficiently, accurately, and in priority order
- Assist with returns, recycling, and proper disposal of medications
- Pre-pack and stock frequently used medications during low-volume times
- Maintain clean and organized workstations and replenish stock as needed
- Alert pharmacists of scanning issues with medications/products
- Follow HIPAA and all applicable regulatory guidelines
- Adhere to company safety, attendance, and dress code policies
- Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs
Pharmacy Fill Technician Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience (Long-Term Care experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of brand-name and generic medications
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Able to work at a consistent, moderate pace
- Reliable with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Must be able to lift light loads and perform physical tasks
- Must be available to work various shifts and days, including weekends and holidays as needed
- Must be dependable and capable of working during inclement weather
Preferred Qualifications
- Lead Pharmacy Technician experience
- Previous experience in a Long-Term Care or Post-Acute pharmacy setting
- Proven ability to problem-solve and work in a fast-paced team environment
