A-Line Staffing is now hiring Pharmacy Fill Technicians in Nashville, TN
The Pharmacy Fill Technician would be working for Polaris Pharmacy Services and has career growth potential. This would be full-time / 40+ hours per week.

Pharmacy Fill Technician Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $20 per hour
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Pharmacy Fill Technician Highlights

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • The required availability for this position is 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM with some weekend shifts as needed
  • No on-call required

Pharmacy Fill Technician Responsibilities

  • Pull and pick medications from shelving and other storage areas
  • Perform final accuracy checks before pharmacist verification
  • Fill daily drug orders efficiently, accurately, and in priority order
  • Assist with returns, recycling, and proper disposal of medications
  • Pre-pack and stock frequently used medications during low-volume times
  • Maintain clean and organized workstations and replenish stock as needed
  • Alert pharmacists of scanning issues with medications/products
  • Follow HIPAA and all applicable regulatory guidelines
  • Adhere to company safety, attendance, and dress code policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs

Pharmacy Fill Technician Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience (Long-Term Care experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of brand-name and generic medications
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Able to work at a consistent, moderate pace
  • Reliable with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Must be able to lift light loads and perform physical tasks
  • Must be available to work various shifts and days, including weekends and holidays as needed
  • Must be dependable and capable of working during inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lead Pharmacy Technician experience
  • Previous experience in a Long-Term Care or Post-Acute pharmacy setting
  • Proven ability to problem-solve and work in a fast-paced team environment
