 A Typical Day Includes: DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: A. Duties 1. Sets up and operates some type of sheet metal finishing machines, as trained. 2. Finishes most standard units and some non-standard parts. 3. Select correct supplies to obtain correct finished product. 4. follow shop routing and instructions. B. Equipment Used 1. Stud Gun 2. Glass bead Finisher 3. Pallet Truck 4. Hand Grinders 5. Deoxider 6. Spot Welder 7. Drill Press 8. Vertical Saws 9. Vertical Mills 10.Misc. grinding hand tools C. Responsibility 1. Work with a minimal amount of supervision. 2. Record time on job assignments. 3. Complete job assignments on time. 4. Follow all safety rules; including using all recommended personal protection equipment. 5. Performs in-process inspection. 6. Regular attendance and punctuality.  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: A. Mathematical Skills 1. Ability to add and subtract using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. 2. Ability to read and interpret a tape measure. B. Reasoning Ability 1. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. 2. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. C.
