Job DescriptionPosition Overview
A global technology organization is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Business Systems to lead financial systems optimization, ERP implementation, and cross-functional process improvement initiatives. This senior leadership role is responsible for aligning financial operations with business strategy, enhancing system capabilities, and driving operational efficiencies across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Process & People Optimization

Evaluate and document financial processes across accounting cycles.

Identify and implement improvements to workflows and internal controls.

Assess team skillsets and align roles with organizational needs.

Develop and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities.
Strategic Financial Systems Leadership

Collaborate with executive leadership to align systems and reporting with strategic goals.

Define and implement KPIs and dashboards to support financial planning and performance tracking.

Lead the organization through ERP system changes and financial system upgrades.

Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with IT and external consultants.
System Management & Integration
-
Oversee daily operations and maintenance of ERP and financial systems.

Lead system upgrades, training development, and rollout.

Identify and implement integrations (e.g., banking APIs, tax engines, customer portals) to improve automation and efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with finance, operations, HR, IT, and other departments to ensure systems support business decision-making.

Drive adoption of analytics platforms and dashboards to improve profitability and performance.
Project & Change Management

Manage ERP-related projects from scope definition to execution.

Facilitate change management and user support during system transitions.

Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and stakeholder communication.
Reporting & Analytics

Develop and maintain reporting tools and dashboards for leadership.

Provide strategic insights based on system data and performance trends.
Other Duties

Lead or support additional strategic initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Certification
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
-
CPA certification (active or inactive) obtained through public accounting experience.
Experience
-
15+ years of experience leading accounting and finance teams across functions including FP&A, reporting, AP/AR, inventory, and tax.

Proven success in ERP implementations and financial system upgrades.
-
Experience in multi-site and global organizations preferred.

Pay Details: $130,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year
